Manganese ore beneficiation process has many large and small equipment: vibrating feeder, PE jaw crusher, JC jaw crusher, HJ jaw crusher, vibrating screen, electromagnetic vibrating feeder, ball mill, spiral classifier, hydrocyclone, high frequency screen, magnetic separator, jigger, mixing barrels, flotation machine, concentrator, filter, drying machines.


Manganese ore beneficiation methods


1. Washing and screening: washing is to use the hydraulic flushing or additional mechanical scrubbing ore and argillaceous separation. Of commonly used equipment washing sieve, drum washing machine and slot type washing machine.


2. Gravity concentration: Currently gravity concentration is only for simple sorting structure, coarser disseminated manganese ore, especially for denser oxide ore. Common methods of gravity beneficiation is usually jigging and shaking table. Gravity separation can increase 3%-5% manganese grade.


3. High grade magnetic: Manganese minerals are weakly magnetic minerals [magnetization coefficient X = 10 × 10-6 ~ 600 × 10-6cm3 / g], the magnetic field strength Ho = 800 ~ 1600kA / m (10000 ~ 20000oe), so use strong magnetic field separator can increase 4%--10% manganese grade.


4. Gravity – Magnetic Concentration: Mainly use to process the oxidized manganese ore leaching type, using jig processing 30 ~ 3 mm ore, can obtain more than 40% grade manganese ore, the concentrated manganese ore after hand pick selecting to remov impurity can be used as battery manganese powder materials. Tailings of jigging and less than 3 mm diameter washed ore use magnetic separation after grinding to less than 1 m, then the grade of manganese concentrate can increase 24% ~ 25% to about 36% ~ 40%.
